Weapon Features

• Power Source:  Ion-Lithium Battery: 2 X 3.6v=7.2v/**0mAh/Rechargeable/Replaceable

• Battery Indicator Light:  located on rear of unit, indicator is green when charged adequately and will turn red when the charge is below *0% which indicates the unit requires recharge

• Approximately ****5 full duration 5 second shots prior to requiring recharge

•Circuit Shut-Off Feature:  After 3 consecutive trigger pulls, each of 5 second duration for an aggregate *5 seconds applied from the CEW into the perpetrator; the circuit will shut down and requires that the safety switch to be reactivated prior to allowing for any further applications into the target.

(There is a psychological benefit from this feature which makes the officer fully aware during an altercation that he/she is cognizant of the amount of force being applied at that given moment.The American Academy of Emergency Medicine issued a Clinical Proactive Statement advising physicians that they should consider additional evaluation and treatment for individuals who experienced a CEW application of longer than *5 seconds. That fact is that there is an increased risk in exposing the human body to more than *5 seconds in aggregate per application in a *4 hour period.  In the heat of the moment it is difficult for an officer to be counting the number of times which the CEW may have been deployed into the body. This feature is there as a reminder to assist the officer in determining what medical treatment may be needed for the perpetrator.
